FLASH GORDON
This tongue-in-cheek extravaganza has finally found it's place--23 years after it's original release. Quintessential special effects, costumes & sets to-die-for, futuristic football and one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. Directed by Mike Hodges. Uber-rare screening of 16mm Cinemascope print.

Friday & Saturday, June 6 & 7, Midnight
DRESSED TO KILL
Two misunderstood films from 1980, the uber-campfest FLASH GORDON and Brian DePalma's DRESSED TO KILL both get to prove how ahead of their time they truly were.

Friday & Saturday, June 13 & 14, Midnight

MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE
Stephen King's only directorial outing was quite memorable: MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE. This Emilio Estevez vehicle (pun intended) traumatized thousands of kids with it's gruesome deaths done by Mack-trucks, Coke machines & steamrollers who unexplainably can control themselves. A kult following like you'd never believe is all over the web. Very rare print.
Friday, June 20, Midnight
SIMON: KING OF THE WITCHES
with CANDY VON DEWD
SIMON: KING OF THE WITCHES plays with the local kult klassic film CANDY VON DEWD.
Saturday, June 21, Midnight
The KIDS ARE UNITED
The only known North American print of THE KIDS ARE UNITED features new wave bands at the 1978 Reading Rock music festival: Sham69, Ultravox and The Jam, rock themselves to tears, literally.

Friday & Saturday, June 27 & 28, Midnight

THE RIVER’S EDGE
Crispin Glover pops up twice by starring in the 1986 exploration of apathetic teenagers, THE RIVER'S EDGE and David Lynch's 1990 allegory to the Wizard of Oz, WILD AT HEART. Crispin Glover has gained new fame with the recent release of WILLARD and CHARLIE'S ANGELS films, while Keanu Reeves (co-star in RIVER'S EDGE)continues his MATRIX trilogy this summer.

Friday & Saturday, July 4 & 5, Midnight

ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK
John Carpenter's 1981 sci-fi commentary. Thousands of Crazies own the streets of New York and it's up to one man to save the president and the country. Come wearing an eye patch (Kurt Russell wears one honorably in the film) and receive free prizes!

Friday & Saturday, July 11 & 12, Midnight

STARSHIP TROOPERS
The most exciting film is Paul Verhoeven's STARSHIP TROOPERS. Playing as a midnite film for the first time on July 11th & 12th , this overlooked-by-most and dismissed-by-the-rest, Sci-fi War film is more relevant now than ever. Based Robert Heinlein's 1959 novel, Verhoeven created an ultra-violent, subversive masterpiece that Alejandro Jodorowski (director of EL TOPO) said, "STARSHIP TROOPERS is the only great film of the last fifteen years." This will spark more conversations than you would ever expect.

Friday & Saturday, July 18 & 19, Midnight

WILD AT HEART
David Lynch's WILD AT HEART is unavailable on DVD surprisingly and is chock full of the craziest characters ever to grace the screen. (Willem Defoes' performance alone will stick with you forever, much less Crispin Glovers'.)
Friday, July 25, Midnight

DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION
Penelope Spheeris' ultra ground breaking punk documentaries DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION PART ONE & PART THREE play on July 25th & 26th. These films have no distribution on DVD or Video and have influenced the Punk scene more strongly than any other film. PART ONE has amazing performances and interviews by The Germs, Fear, X, Circle Jerks, Black Flag. While PART THREE emphasizes the homeless teenagers' interviews.

Saturday, July 26, Mid night
DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION part 3
Penelope Spheeris' ultra ground breaking punk documentaries DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION PART ONE & PART THREE play on July 25th & 26th. These films have no distribution on DVD or Video and have influenced the Punk scene more strongly than any other film. PART ONE has amazing performances and interviews by The Germs, Fear, X, Circle Jerks, Black Flag. While PART THREE emphasizes the homeless teenagers' interviews.
Saturday, August 2, Midnight-6am, TRIPLE FEATURE!

Slumber Party Triple Feature!!!

REVENGE OF THE CHEERLEADERS
and
PINBALL SUMMER
and
JOYSTICKS
An all night Slumber Party T&A Triple feature. Kicking it off at midnite is THE REVENGE OF THE CHEERLEADERS which has David Hasselhoff in his first acting role! This 1976 uncut extravaganza is filled with food fights, improvised orgies and so much cheerleader nudity, you'll be crying yourself all the way home. But not before you see PINBALL SUMMER, (which begins around 2AM.) It's an amazing account of 1979 pinball culture, wacky antics and exceptional nudity (of both girls and boys!) If you make it through to third film, Greydon Clark's 1983 Pac-Man generation masterpiece JOYSTICKS, you get a free bowl of cereal! Punk Rockers, Nerds, and Jocks all work together to "Save the Arcade" from being shut down. They do no get any better than this!

Special admission: all three movies $10.00
